The PTP Adhesive Thermal Barrier has many uses for the purpose of protecting parts and components from radiant heat (up to 2000°F) and direct heat (up to 300°F).

Use it to protect anything from paint, plastic parts, hoses, wires, etc. Applications include automotive, marine, and motorcycles.

The PTP Adhesive Thermal Barrier is made up of woven silica that is backed by a flexible aluminized finish to reflect radiant heat. The adhesive backing makes it easy to install on virtually any clean, untextured surface or part that you need to protect.

Silver Plus:

The PTP Adhesive Thermal Barrier Plus is designed to reflect heat from heat-damaging sources. Popular locations for the application of the barrier include firewalls, fuel tanks, transmission tunnels, exhaust areas, fuel cells, and much more. In addition to extreme heat protection, the Adhesive Thermal Barrier Plus provides excellent sound deadening to decrease engine and road noise.

PTP Adhesive Thermal Barrier Plus is constructed from glass fiber mat interwoven with glass filament yarn, laminated with a 0.1mm thick imprinted aluminum foil, and equipped with a high-quality self-adhesive material based on acrylate. The overall construction is only 1/8″ thick to enable installation in minimal clearance areas. It’s easy to install, can be shaped and trimmed for custom applications, and easily bonds to virtually any clean surface.

Gold:

The PTP Gold Adhesive Thermal Barrier is a high-strength heat reflective foil made from lightweight aerospace material. The foil is 6 mm thick with a fire-resistant, pressure-sensitive adhesive that incorporates a fiberglass backing for strength and tear resistance.

PTP Gold Adhesive Thermal Barrier is a high-strength sheet/tape where applications need to be shielded from radiant heat, even sharp and pointed-edge components. A highly reflective film and silicone adhesive allow the PTP Gold Adhesive Thermal Barrier to reflect up to 750°F of radiant heat and has a continuous operating temperature of 500°F. Use it on firewalls, intake tubes/manifolds, engine covers, seats, and much more.
