The Cusco Power Brace Rear Lateral / Sway Bar Bracket increases structural rigidity towards the rear of the car by connecting the control arm mounting location to the swaybar bracket.  This adds strength to the swaybar mounting bracket that is built with weaker stamped steel welded to the rear subframe. This brace is also a great combination with a larger rear swaybar to add extra support under the new forces a larger swaybar applies to the oem brackets.
