Enkei Raijin finally installed after a minor rear fender roll.  We’ve found the best fitment for widebody GR WRX/STi models is 18×9.5 +42-45 and you can fit up to a 265/35R18 with just a minor rear fender roll on the back.

New brakes arrived!  We selected the Essex AP Racing Competition Brake Package for it’s performance and value.  This kit is not ideal for all year round use but we will be servicing the brakes annualy to clean up the pistons from the road debris.  One of the biggest factors that make the Competition package great is the pads are CHEAP!  For a comparison a set of CL Pads would be $400 for Brembo’s but for this kit the same pad would be $250.  Also the pads are THICK so they last significantly longer.  The kit itself features lightweight forged calipers, spiegler braided brake lines, radial caliper mounting, 2-piece AP Racing rotors.  We also ended up adding ARP Extended wheel studs which are a god send when taking wheels on and off consistently.  For the rears we installed a set of powdercoated Brembo calipers with Girodisc 2-piece Rotors.
