Bracing and Exhaust work for a 2002 WRX

This 2002 WRX came into the shop to have some basic work performed by our skilled technician.  The owner purchased the beefy TiC fender cowl braces from us and asked us to install them.  The installation is fairly straight forward but can be tricky without the right tools.  These cut and welded braces replace the stamped steel OEM pieces which you can easily flex by hand.  These tie the front of the chassis to the main body and by replacing these with stiffer pieces you increase the rigidity of the front end.  The owner had also picked up a Borla Hush cat-back system which he had painted black for a more stealth appearance.  The Borla hush is probably the quietest aftermarket exhaust on the market and it looks the part as well.  Borla offers an option to use a 3″ adapter so that flow is not hindered at the downpipe connection.  We also did a quick oil change using Motul fluids and a Genuine Subaru Oil Filter.
