We previously featured this 2007 Subaru Legacy GT on our site when we installed the H&R springs with Koni Yellows. Well after enjoying that for a little bit the owner decided it was time for some more mods. Whenever you lower a car you change the roll centre of the vehicle due to the change in the location of the balljoint and tie rod ends. Whiteline found a way to correct this with the KCA313 Roll Centre Adjustment kit. This kit includes new lower balljoints and tie rods that are 15mm longer then the stock pieces to compensate for the lowered geometry. This also helps to combat bump-steer as well. We installed the KCA313 kit and moved onto the front lower control arms rear bushing. In 2005 Subaru decided to go to a different rear control arm mount then previous years. This new style bushing had too many voids in the OEM bushing which would slowly tear itself apart. Whiteline came up with a solution by offering a press-in replacement polyurethane bushing that is stiffer and stronger then the OEM piece. They also added some anti-lift properties by adding 0.5 degrees of static caster. We pressed the OEM bushings out and pressed the new ones in with our custom press plate we had machined for these arms. The turn in response and change is pretty awesome with these 2 pieces!
