OVERVIEW
Verus Engineering set out to greatly increase the strength and longevity of the OEM cast ductile iron STI clutch fork. The Verus fork is specifically designed for use with high-strength pressure plates and clutches where the OE cast iron fork begins to show its weakness.
Our forged clutch fork was designed utilizing advanced FEA (Finite Element Analysis) software to dramatically increase strength, rigidity, and overall longevity. The unit is CNC machined from pre-hardened steel and then zinc-coated black for corrosion resistance. We then press in OE style PTFE lined bushings for effortless operation.
The clutch fork fits a variety of Subaru makes and models; please refer to our fitment chart at the bottom of this page to ensure your vehicle can utilize this clutch fork.

As shown above, you can see a significant decrease in stress concentrations moving from OEM, cast ductile iron, to our forged steel unit. All graphs are set the exact same, with yield strength at the limit of the color gradient (red). Warmer colors, like red and purple, show areas over yield strength. The cooler colors, like deep blue, represent areas of low stress. Adding material in weak locations as well as utilizing improved material and manufacturing techniques greatly improve the strength of this clutch fork.
