IAG AIR / OIL SEPARATOR (AOS)
PROTECTION FOR YOUR ENGINE
The IAG Air/Oil Separator (AOS) is a worthwhile investment to safeguard and enhance the performance of your Subaru. Developed through years of testing on standard and competitive applications, the IAG Air/Oil Separator offers unparalleled protection for your 2006-2007 Impreza WRX or 2004-2007 STI engine. Our AOS design incorporates a 1-liter cast aluminum swirl pot canister that significantly improves oil separation from the PCV system before returning PCV gasses to the intake. Constructed from a lightweight, yet durable aluminum housing, the IAG AOS offers improved ventilation and incorporates an intelligent baffle design that sets it apart from the competition. It is compatible with all fuel types, extends engine life, improves crankcase ventilation, and seamlessly integrates with standard ECU settings.
PREVENTS OIL FROM ENTERING THE INTAKE
Oil entering the engine’s intake tract can result in a range of adverse effects. Preventing oil from entering the engine intake is crucial to prevent premature mechanical problems and to maintain optimal performance in your Subaru. The oil can coat the internal components of the intake, intercooler and plumbing, which can lead to the deterioration of the rubber and silicone hoses, eventually compromising the connections. Once inside the intake tract, the oil can access the intake manifold and then the engine’s combustion chamber, potentially triggering detonation, pre-ignition, excessive emissions, smoke, power loss, reduced fuel efficiency, and even engine damage or complete engine failure.
MAINTENANCE FREE
The IAG Air/Oil Separator was designed for ease of use and unlike ordinary catch-can systems, our Air Oil Separators work without the need for routine draining or maintenance. The separated oil collects along the walls of the AOS can, then drains gradually into the engine’s crankcase. The oversized AOS body allows the oil to drain slowly, eliminating the risk of overflow often seen in smaller catch cans. Our exclusive heating system ensures that the gathered oil remains free of sludge, reducing the possibility of reintroducing it back into the engine.
HOW DOES THE AOS FUNCTION AND WHAT’S INSIDE?
The IAG Air Oil Separator uses a unique baffle system to collect and drain the oil from your engine’s PCV gasses back to the crankcase. The AOS body’s inlet hoses create an internal gas vortex, which then filters through the baffles, trapping the oil and allowing the gas to escape from the top of the AOS canister. Because the OEM PCV remains functional, the engine is also able to provide additional vacuum, which helps to remove more of the PCV gasses.

CUTS DOWN ON CONDENSATION BUILDUP
The IAG Air Oil Separator incorporates the use of its exclusive heating system to eliminate problems found in lesser quality catch cans. Poorly designed versions allow hot PCV gasses to pass through the cold passageway, allowing for condensation to mix with the oil and cause sludge. IAG’s upgraded design attaches to the vehicle’s cooling system, allowing heat from the engine to transfer into the AOS canister. By heating the AOS canister to the engine’s temperature, condensation and associated buildup are significantly diminished or completely eliminated.
SAE QUICK CONNECTION LINES
IAG’s Air Oil Separator includes a full set of custom length SAE Quick Connection lines that simplify the installation of the AOS system, as well as reduce the chance of leakage because they offer a more reliable and secure connection than basic hose clamps. Once installed, our AOS system has a polished factory-like appearance that blends seamlessly with your Subaru’s engine.
EASY INSTALLATION
Our engineers set out to make the system as easy to install as possible for the 2006-2007 Subaru Impreza WRX and 2004-2007 STI. The connection hoses at the canister are custom fitted SAE Quick Connection lines that are the exact length to reach the corresponding engine parts. The IAG Air Oil Separator also includes pre-cut and crimped hoses on applicable Subaru models. The IAG AOS is available in your choice of black, red or neon yellow to perfectly accentuate the engine bay of your Subaru.
IAG AOS Street to Competition Series Conversion – OPTIONAL
The IAG AOS conversion kit is designed to switch the upper breather portion of the Street Series AOS to the Competition Series AOS. The kit includes the new billet aluminum Competition Series Single breather port, replacement breather o-ring, breather discharge hose, NPT plug, (x2) rubber caps and zip ties.
This kit is designed to convert part# IAG-ENG-7151/IAG-ENG-7150 to part# IAG-ENG-7251/IAG-ENG-7250.

IAG Street Series Oil Pan Package
About Street Series EJ Oil Pan
The IAG Street Series Oil Pan for the Subaru WRX and STI is uniquely designed and CNC machined to suit a wide range of street and track applications. The cast aluminum oil pan was designed with fitment for a larger variety of popular headers in mind, while still increasing oil capacity up to 30% over OEM.
The design incorporates cooling fins to aid in dissipating heat from the oil as air passes over them. The included oil drain plug is integrated into the lower cooling fins at the absolute bottom of the pan to make sure all the waste oil is removed during maintenance changes. The oil drain plug uses an OEM style crush washer. The oil pan is also threaded with a ⅛ inch NPT port to accept many popular oil temperature sensors. A ⅛ inch NPT plug is also included in the event that the sensor port is not used.
The upper flange mounting surface is CNC machined for better hardware fitment. The flange features a sealing O-ring for easier installation and removal. The pan is designed to use the included OEM style Viton dipstick o-rings with a unique chamfer to aid in the installation of the dipstick.
About Street Series Oil Baffle
Internally, the pan includes our integrated, stainless steel, Street Series Oil Baffle that is designed to prevent oil inside the pan from sloshing around and creating cavitation, which can lead to oil starvation. The baffle is engineered to be removable for future upgrades and easy cleaning.
About Windage Tray
The job of the windage tray is to help direct oil from the upper crankcase down into the lower crankcase and oil pan area. Manufactured from stainless steel, precision-formed louvers direct oil downwards and help to prevent oil that is draining from the cylinder heads in the lower crankcase area from sloshing upwards into the path of the crankshaft and connecting rods, thus reducing aeration.
About IAG V2 Oil Pickup:
The IAG Performance Subaru WRX / STI oil pickup is designed to replace the OEM EJ25 oil pickup which is prone to failure. It’s a well-known fact that the OEM oil pickups often crack and fail which in most cases destroys your motor from lack of oil pressure. To avoid the cracking failures seen in the OEM oil pickup tubes, the IAG oil pickup is manufactured from heavy-gauge steel tubing that is 2x thicker than OEM. Additionally, it features a flange machined from 3/8” stainless steel to mate with the block, sealed with a Viton O-ring. The integrated heavy-duty stainless steel mounting bracket uses two mounting points rather than the OEM single mounting point. Furthermore, the oil pickup features a formed bottom with an OEM style mesh screen for proper filtration. The TIG-welded oil pickup increased material thickness matched with the two-point heavy-duty mounting bracket helps ensure it does not fatigue and fail over time like an OEM unit.

The industry first (and patent pending) DOHC EJ Cylinder 4 Combustion Chamber Cooling kit increases coolant flow in the LH head to improve reliability by reducing detonation causing hot spots, reducing EGT delta, and improving overall cooling system performance.
