When a vehicle is lowered, the effect on the headlights is often overlooked. Newer model cars usually come equipped with headlight level adjusting systems, which automatically adjust the position of the headlights to compensate for bumps or dips in the road. With this system, the headlights of a car will come out of position when the car is lowered causing them to point towards the street rather than straight ahead and can blind oncoming drivers ahead. Cusco’s Automatic Levelizer Adjustment Rod fixes this problem, putting the headlights in a fixed position regardless of vehicle position by replacing the stock arm that measures suspension travel.
