The Tanabe Sustec Under Brace prevents unwanted flexing of the unibody under various handling loads as twisting of the chassis is very common on higher horsepower vehicles. This is done by connecting specific points of the undercarriage to reinforce the chassis. Unique internal double I-beam construction is highly rigid and lightweight, so the chassis may be significantly reinforced without adding surplus weight.
Constructed of reinforced aluminum, the underbrace features a highly rigid ovalshaft design that features excellent construction quality and fitment. Specially engineered to connect to points on the chassis that would provide the highest rigidity and flex reduction, the braces are available in 2 or 4 point configurations, depending on application. By reducing flexing and distortion of the chassis, stability between left and right sides is improved, which means sure-footed handling.
