This kit is made to run into the PCV system, but there are other options for your application:

This catch can kit mounts on the back LH side of the engine bay. The Focus ST requires this kit, while the Focus RS requires kit 20-0316, linked HERE. This is due to different mounting bracket designs necessary because of the subtle changes between the engine bays.
For clearance purposes, Focus ST installations require Radium 20-0356 Sound Symposer Delete Kit or other symposer delete kit to be installed. Sold separately.
This catch can runs inline with the crankcase breather port. At low loads, it experiences atmospheric pressure, but when the engine is at high load (WOT), this hose will experience high flow out of the crankcase. This would normally lead to oil and sludge accumulation in the air filter intake pipe. Oil accumulation will occur in the intercooler which lowers the thermal efficiency properties of the heat exchanger and leads to decreased performance.
