Essential Mod

Due to the slop of the internals in the transmission, there is an unacceptable amount of horizontal slop within the 1st- and 2nd- gear shift gates. What should be little to no movement ends up being nearly 1.0 inch of play. This makes for an unnatural placement of shift gates and a lost feeling of which gear you are in. The PERRIN Shifter Stop removes this play, reducing the horizontal movement to 0.12 inches. This makes for a solid connection between the driver and transmission.

The PERRIN Shifter Stop is perfectly designed to bolt directly to the shifter. Being constructed from 6061-T6 Aluminum allows for countless downshifts from 3rd to 2nd gear without worry of damaging the shifter stop or shifter.

Bonus Feature

Included with each PERRIN Shifter Stop is hardware that removes an existing gap in the shifter assembly, further reducing lateral shifter assembly movement.

Finish

The PERRIN Shifter Stop is anodized black to provide a hard yet smooth surface for your shifter to rest against during 1st to 2nd gear shifts. This also keeps your shifter stop looking nice forever.
