Our client reported a knocking noise from the engine and had it towed in. Upon starting it was apparent it had a bearing spun. Here’s what we found when we pulled it apart. Rod #3 is the bad one in the video however the rod on #1 was much worse. It actually pounded the bearing that the bearing started coming out of the sides between the crank and the rod. Major damage to the crank, rods and metal all throughout the engine.
